Donate Life

The National Kidney Foundation estimates that 350,000 people in the US have end-stage renal disease and about 67,000 people die of kidney failure every year. In the year 2000, 47,000 people in the US were waiting for a kidney transplant. The lack of organs available for transplantation is a serious problem. By signing a donor card, an individual indicates their wish to be a donor. It is important to share your wishes with your next of kin as they will be asked prior to a donation.

Mulch

Paul, Michele and I mulched our front yard. It really only took about an hour to unload the mulch. It took longer to get it from the store. Thank god for friends with trucks that work for free.

Run Forest Run!

Michele and I have signed up to run a 5k in Westerville. I am able to walk/run about 2.5 miles a day(1.5 in the morning before work and 1 mile at night). Michele can already do a 5K I think. I have about a month to get ready. It seems I am doing everything that Forest Gump did. Next up, Shrimpin.
